Who Is Eligible  Any M.D., D.O., Ed.D. or Ph.D. who intends to teach full time in Family Medicine in the United States may apply for the program. In that no stipend is paid for participation in the Fellowship, our trainees usually have full-time academic appointments with a Department of Family Medicine or a Family Medicine Residency Program while they participate in the Fellowship. We do charge Texas participants a $1,000 book/program fee. Out-of-state participants will have to pay all cost of the fellowship.
